Withdrawal & cancellation

No statutory right of withdrawal

There is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts for accommodation on a specific date or for a specific period (Art. 103(l) of the Spanish consumer protection law, Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, corresponding to Art. 16(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU). This also applies if you book online, by telephone or by email.

Cancellation

You can nevertheless cancel your booking at any time before arrival. To do so, send us an email at villarosalva@villarosalva.com or give us a call (+34 922 37 37 09). What counts is the time at which we receive your cancellation.

We charge the following cancellation fees, calculated on the rental price:

• up to 2 months before arrival: 20%
• up to 1 month before arrival: 50%
• less than 1 month before arrival, or in the event of a no-show: 100%

Example: for an arrival on 15 August, you can cancel for 20% up to and including 15 June, and for 50% up to and including 15 July.

Any extras you have booked are refunded in full. We offset amounts already paid against the cancellation fee and refund the balance within 14 days to the original payment method. You will receive a corrected invoice by email.

You may show that we have suffered no loss or a lower loss, or name a replacement guest to take over your booking. Full details are set out in our terms and conditions, section 5.

Our tip

Travel cancellation insurance covers the cancellation fees in many cases, for example in the event of illness.
